Professor Amanda Hallay (MA) is a teacher, author, fashion historian, and presenter specializing in the relationship between culture and clothing.
Formerly the Fashion Editor of ‘Couture’ and ‘Men Mode’ magazines (and the European Fashion Forecaster for The Doneger Group), Amanda is an international lecturer who develops and presents workshops and micro-courses on Fashion History, Cultural History, Pop Culture (and the relationship between all three) at schools and colleges both in The United States and overseas, as well as standalone talks and ‘lunch and learns’ within the fashion, media, advertising, and related industries.
A 2015 Grammy Award® nominee in the Music Educator category, Amanda is the creator and host of the popular Ultimate Fashion History Channel on YouTube, and the author of three books and numerous articles relating to Fashion and Culture, both past and present.
